Apartment Review for Villages Of Monterey - Oceanside, CA

This is regarding the amenities at Villages of Monterey in Oceanside, CA. We have lived here for nearly six months and there has been an endless issue with the advertised amenities. For two months the pool and spa were completely shut down to change the water. It was peak time to use them also. The fitness center was missing cables on two if its machines for over a month. This is aggravating because what have we been paying for when nearly half the time we have lived here the services are unavailable. In addition to that I went to the car wash port today to wash my car and that wasn't working either. The football field behind the property is always noisy too, the leasing agent told us they only have stuff going on Friday nights and we didn't worry because both of us work on Friday nights. They have bands and announcers on that field doing something nearly every day during the school year. Also, for 2 months the painters were here even though the management sent out letters saying it would be a matter of weeks. The painters were on our patio for six straight days painting. Our patio is an hour job yet they came back each day to do a little here and a little there instead of finishing it. When confronted they did finish in about an hour but the quality is horrible. Staff in the leasing office is more or less unaware. They do have a couple people down there who seem to care but as a majority they do not. Choose another place and get a gym membership.
