Apartment Review for The Villages Of Monterey - Oceanside, CA

These apartments are not gated and are notorious for vehicle theft. We have like there for a year and a half and have had 3 motorcycles stolen! Staff has been notified and nothing has been done to prevent it. There are gates, but they don't use them unless the high school is having graduation! We are Military and had to break our lease. We gave them the notice and gave them our Orders just like we were supposed to. They are making us pay until the Date we are supposed to be checking into our new station. Even though on the orders it says the date that we are to check out of our current place. We now have to pay double rent because they are using the latter date (which if we stayed there would give us zero time to look for another place and zero time to move in). They are not understanding nor using their common sense. I would not reccommend this to anyone. The model looks beautiful and then they move you into an apartment with gross counters and stains just waiting to jump through the padding.. Oh, and they don't have air conditioning... the dial onthe wall is HEAT!
