Apartment Review for The Missions At Rancho Del Oro - Oceanside, CA

when we moved in the apartment was not clean. When we said something maintenance came right over, but I had already had a lot done. We told the office staff that there was a smoker in the household, but did not smoke in the home. Was told that was not an issue. Our biggest complaint is the woman that lives above us. She has no control over her children or grandchildren. She lets them run jump play basketball in the home. She yells screams cusses so loud that you can hear it in the parking lot. We complained to the office. The office staff did write her up, but all that did was to piss this woman off. So now it is even worst then before. She came to our apt and told us that she "would not stop her children and grandchildren from running jumping. We would just have to deal with it" We then went to the office for advice on what to do. We were told to keep a log when this happens. Now in this apt there has ALWAYS been smokers. (we cleaned up after the last renters when we moved in) This woman not one time complained about someone smoking outside before we moved in and not one time in the 6-7 months we lived here. But because we complained about noise she is now saying it bothers her. BUT she her self allows her company and when she leaves her children by them selves they all smoke and throw lit cigs to the ground. We have asked the office staff to deal with her. If you complain all she does is come to your door and yell and scream at you. She is a bully and being disabled person we are afraid of what she will do next if we compain again. We will not be staying, as soon as our leaase is up we will be moving. Before moving in here, ask about the poeple that live around you. Make sure there have not been any compaints about them. I feel really sorry for the people that move into this apt after we leave. You pay this much money for a place to live, you should not have to listen to someones elses household drama, the yelling and cussing upstairs is out of control and then throw in the running pounding, jumping and slamming of doors. At all hours of the day and night.
