Apartment Review for Silver Oaks Apartments - Oceanside, CA

mold in walls and under carpet. they tried to kill it using bleach but they left the bleach there, so eventually it started to seap up through the carpet. no air conditioning and the lead paited walls make for a very hot and unventilated apartment. they say no pets, but everyone here has one. LOTS of marines living here, but for some reason that doesn't make the security any better, cars parked on the street get broken into all the time, sometimes even stolen. guest are forced to park inside, where it is suppoed to be permit only. the noise is often unbearable, since canyon drive is a main route between mission ave and oceanside blvd. commercial trucks, motorcycles, turbo sports cars, not to mention all the sirens, plus the constant booming music and the occasional arrest, but hey, that's oceanside for you. managers are friendly to get you in the door, but once you are here they mistreat you. they also spy on you (no, that is not paranoya) they give you nasty looks and knock on you door at random times of the day. at their annual inspections, if you are not home, they look in all your private stuff (we have surveillance) So for 785/month this place is great!
