Apartment Review for Shadow Ridge Apartments - Oceanside, CA

There is something to be said for being allowed to check out apartments during the hours that tenants are around. Had we done this, I doubt we would have signed a lease. The hot water changes temperatures about 7 times during your shower ranging from VERY HOT to VERY COLD. Whenever your neighbors turn their water on you hear it run through the walls and a lovely baratone note sounds throughout your place. We choose this place with the promise of a fitness center, repairs to the sidewalks and road & a jacuzzi. I've been told that the fitness center is not a priority and may never be fixed. The jacuzzi has been fixed, but small children are allowed in there and last time I looked, let's just say I worry for the people who do decide to go in. The tenants are extremely rude when it comes to watching their laundry...I had to wait around for over 40min for someone/anyone to take their laundry out, noting a few of the dryers were stone cold, so someone obviously didn't care. This place is great if you don't mind screaming yelling kids and loud music on the weekends. As for us....we're looking foward to the end of our lease.
