Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Oceanside, CA

I've been living in these apartments for years, because of my personal situation I continue to stay here. The truth is....I have no problems with my neighbors we get along. Maintenance is the top reason i like staying here. They keep the complex clean and always fix any thing in my apartment promptly. Now Jill is head manager and head bitch. She's the devil of the apartments. She has been working for the company for over 7years. Now ask anyone in these apartments and they know how she is. In my opinion Jill a.k.a.Cruela Deville !!!! I know for a fact you don't get back your deposit, possibly 10% if you do. They don't change your carperts after the year required, they want to charge you. Island club won't take responsibility for ANYTHING that goes wrong in the apartments. They change stafff as quickly as they change underwear. Granite Cruela Deville (JILL). But they are quick to charge you for everything and anything. I have lived here for over 5 years and I have seen a lot of shit. At night I see big roaches while walking on the sidewalk, which have entered apartments. Try walking around at night you'll notice them. And get this THERE IS A LIST of who the won't renew leases for. I know a family who were denied to resigning the lease because he complained about a hazardous situation near his apartment. The point is...if you complain you wont be renewing your lease. I think that is pretty shady, but you can thank Jill for that. She's as shady as they come. That family was the sweetest family and because they complained about a fire hazard they are no longer our neighbors. Before you move in... Walk around at night and check out the area, talk to a few residents and ask about the good and the bad within the apartments. Don't walk in wtih both feet first, know what your getting yourself into. Obviously you made the first step by reading this. But check out the place with out the assistance of the office. We are not gated so feel free to check it out.
