Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Oceanside, CA

There are so many instances of mismanagement, negligence and plain incompetance that I cannot possibly go into them all. Some examples include: * posting a 3-day notice to quit, three months in a row despite having our rent - this was blamed on transitions within accounting; * entering our appartment without permission; * shutting off utilities, (water & power,)without notice; * failing to respond to notification of flooding - (contractors on the property hit a sewage line, at which point it burbled up from our sink and poured into our kitchen. It then took three phone calls over five hours to get someone into our appartment to fix it, by which time it had spread throughout the halls, dining room and living room to the laundry room, subsiquently requiring 3 days of all our carpets being torn up and huge industrial fans being run, on our dime, 24 hours a day. So many more things too... If you are looking at renting at Island Club... FLEE!
