Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Oceanside, CA

This place has gone so far down hill in the last few months. The lady that is the "manager" will look you right in the eyes and lie, not bat an eye and lie to you. We have one apt that the young lady (if you can call her that) sit outside her apt and fights with the guy she lives with. Every cuss word in the book and a few that I have never heard. She yells so loud that you can hear her through your closed windows and doors. The young couple that lives in 324 have two dogs, one little one and then a BIG one. The little one does not stop barking the big one is very mean. Only time before this dog bites someone. They NEVER pick up their dog crap!! The manager has been told, funny thing is we go and complain to her, she does NOTHING then when you go back to let her know this crap is still going on and she will tell you she knew NOTHING about it. Well DUH! you did too know because you WERE the one that handled the complaint the FIRST time. Nothing like having a dog crap right outside your bedroom window and then have the other one yelling what an blank blank her boyfriend is. This place has gone so down hill, before this last manager this crap was not allowed. Several of us that live around 2308 building have been complaining. So if you want to move here stay away from building 2308, 2310, 2309. Maybe the owners of this place will start reading the complants here and something will be done. Oh and lets not forget about the painters they have painting the place. They are the worst, they will be painting around your windows and sit there and be looking in apts. They went through one apts closet on their balcony. Why they needed to be in it is beyond us. If you move here be ready for the BS, the people with dogs that crap all over the place (the managers know who they are they just choose not to do anything) fights, car brake in's. Drug deals then by all means move in here. We are leaving, just as soon as our lease is up we are gone. Several of us have talked about picking up the dog crap and setting it on the managers office steps in a bag then maybe she/they will do something.
