Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Oceanside, CA

In the little over a year that I have lived here I have seen security one time. One neighbor has a thing about taking a leak outside under the stairs. He is a man not a child. The managent office has been told several times, nothing done. They say that the dogs are to be on a leash, well that does not happen. People are to pick up their dog crap, that also does not happen. So every time they mow the grass it smells like dog crap. There is a apt that has low income people living there that deal drugs in plain sight. Nothing is done and the management knows about it. There is one of the people that work in the office that has a dog that barks all day nothing is done. He works there so of course nothing is done about it. He also never cleans his dog crap up. We went to swim in the pool by the office and there must have been a party there the night before. There was tampons all over in the pool and no one cleaned it let alone closed the pool until it could be cleaned. Just plain gross. For the amount of money you pay to live here it is not worth it. You can get a much better place. They only show you the good stuff, then after you sign the lease you really see what it is like. Oh and as for what another poster said about the list of breeds of dogs that can't be here. She is right that is BS, there are several pits and other very large breeds that are here. Oh and if you walk around you will see that people store their unused furniture on their porches. Makes it look very trashy, just move in the trailor trash. You are not to have furniture on your porches, but walk behind building 2308 it is nasty. Sorry this is so long but it really is bad.
