Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Oceanside, CA

Condescending and unhelpful, the staff at Island Club are extremely unprofessional. From their flippant attitude to their lack of willingness to work with the renters I have been dissatisfied with them throughout my one year stay.

We had an extremely uncleanly neighbor below us who had a cockroach infestation. Very often cockroachs would wander to our apartment. After multiple complaints to the manager we finally arranged for them to exterminate the entire building, but when the day came the neighbors hadn't prepared and the extermination was never done. Management did nothing to solve this problem and as a result we lived with cockroachs for 6 months.

When the time came to re-lease we opted not to for obvious reasons. We made an appointment to do a walkthrough and turn in our keys. The day of the appoinment we called to confirm and were told that a walkthrough could not be done as maintenance has left for the day. We agreed to still meet at the scheduled time to complete the rest of the chck-out process. We were treated extremely rudely on this occasion by an employee named "Asia." Her lack of customer service skills, and outright rudeness were extreme, and completly unwarranted. Eventually we turned in our keys and are looking forward to never stepping foot on the premesis again.

I have lived all over the country and have never had such a horrid experience, I could not in good faith recommend this apartment complex to anyone, under any circumstance.
