Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Oceanside, CA

Well I have lived in a lot of apartments in southern california and Island Club has to be the ALL TIME WORST. The management sucks, they are lazy, they don't care about their tenants, and nothing happens in a timely manner. When I was first moving in I made it perfectly clear that I wanted a washer and dryer in my unit. I was told that I was going to have one, but after signing the contract I moved in only to find out that the washer and dryers only come in the two bedroom apartments. They knew the whole time I was moving into a one bedroom and they told me that it was going to have one! And after wanting to move out my new landlord needed a referral from the Island Club, took them 8 days just to write * Never been late on a payment and * how much I pay a month. 8 WHOLE DAYS to do something that takes 2 seconds. It would have taken them longer if I hadn't gone into the office and stood there until they wrote it. My dish washer was broken the whole time i lived there. I have put in over 86 fix requests and everytime they come and "fixed it" only for me to find out nothing has been done and the stupid thing still doesn't work. Not to mention I moved into an apartment with the carpet looking like the people that had lived there before me owned a zoo, stains everywhere and they still wouldn't replace it. I could go on and on about the crap club apartments. But i will just recommend look elsewhere!!!
