Apartment Review for Eaton Gardens - Oceanside, CA

After purchasing a home, my husband and I moved out. When I called to ask Diana about our return of deposit she claimed we had damaged the apartment beyond what should have been done after only two years. She claims that the apartment had to be re-painted ( pretty basic, and I thought was the professional thing to do after every tenet leaves) and then went on to say the reason me and my husband moved out was because of marital problems and not to take it out on her. I was extremely offended and found her comment out of line. She ended up hanging up on me when I asked to have the phone number for the owner to put in a formal complaint. She will not take my calls. She is also extremely bias and when I was pregnant and wanting to move in she said I would have to give a 2300 dollar deposit and I also had to pay her rent on the first. I ended up giving her 3450 to move into that crap whole. I was pregnant and desperate for a place close to the beach so I did. I lived to regret the decision. She also would not allow me to give her a check, it had to be money orders and would not allow me to sign a lease because my husband was in Iraq and she wanted to make sure we were not partiers (again, I was 7 months pregnant). She refused applications from friends of mine because she stated she thought they looked like partiers.I would never recommend this place, and if I had the time and patients would take her to court for my deposit. But being happily married with a new home I have better things to do.
