Apartment Review for Creekwood Villas Apartments - Oceanside, CA

While living here with my husband there were too many unpleasant things that happened to go into many details on each. With that said, I will give the basics. 1- over run with mice AND rats, 2-plumming problems that leaked through to our cieling, 3- termites, 4-corpse flies coming from holes in our cieling that had been feeding off of dead rats that were left there rather than being taken out. After complaining they came in and sprayed leaving all of the dead flies there for me to find once coming home. There were at least 20 in the bathroom and some were even stuck in the screan. 5-problems covered up with deodorizers and duct tape (litterally) rather than being fixed, 6-lazy employees, 7-too many layers of paint and hairs left in the paint all over apt when moving in. It appeared as though the apt was not cleaned before being painted. There was also a checkbook left in one of the kitchen cabinets that was painted over. That proved that the apt was not inspected before allowing new residents to move in. 8-cockroaches at night, 9-spiders everywhere, 10-leaking bathtub, 11-kitchen cabinets never closed all the way...again due to too many layers of paint, 12- loud neighbors who liked to party and play loud music all hours of the night while drinking and peeing off of the balcony. Nothing was done when phone calls were made to the apt at 2 in the morning. 13-some kind of large rodent was living in a friends' bathroom vent and had pee leaking down the wall. Instead of calling for professional help one of the onsite workers was called to help. He set a trap, allowed it to die and did nothing. The animal died and the pee was left there to contaminate their apt. They moved as soon as the lease allowed them too. My husband and I only stayed until we were able to afford to move out and the conditions became too unsanitary to live in. Needless to say, they allowed us to break our lease. If not, the video of everything would have insured our leaving asap. ! DO NOT MOVE IN IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIVES!!!
