Apartment Review for Boulevard Apartments - Oceanside, CA

The management here sucks. They are never in the office, never answer the phone and never keep their word. Maintenance issues can only be taken care of if you call and complain to their larger corporate office. We called five or six times to get our kitchen light fixed and never received any kind of service. Eventually the stopped answering our calls and we resorted to their corporate office. Funny, we got a call back in 5 minutes and the maintenance guy was at our door within an hour. When we moved in there was boogers on the walls, stains on the floor and the fridge had some sticky substance that no cleaning solution in the world would get off. We had all this noted in our initial walk-through and kept reminding the management of it. It was never resolved. Then when it was time to move out, they said we had pet urine in 2 rooms and tried to charge us over $100. We have a cat that is more of a neat freak than us. He won't drink day old water let alone piss on the carpet. I'm sure it was stains from the previous resident. Not to mention we had the carpet cleaned the day we moved out. Nickel and dime... The parking is atrocious, this is probably attributed to the 2 bedroom apartment below us that had at least ten people living in it. Or maybe it was the totaled car that was missing the front end that they let take up a space for about six months. My fiancee' had her panties stolen from the washing machine mid-cycle. Talk about creepy sex offender. They took only the sexy panties and left everything else. WATCH OUT!!! To top it all off the cops were here daily, one time the swat team came storming in at 8:00 on a weekday morning and busted down our neighbors door. If you want to live somewhere nice, look somewhere else. If you want to live in the slums, sign a lease with boulevard apartments
