Apartment Review for Boulevard Apartments - Oceanside, CA

So we were robbed twice in 8 days including having our car broken into, porch wood fence panel ripped off, bikes stolen, and an ongoing roach and bug problem. The staff was okay about it but would not help make life too much easier. Finally our neighbors were doing drugs on our front walkway and that call let them out of our 30 days notice (they had already waved lease breaking fees by then). The police are always here but not quick enough and the "security" is never here. We had the bugs sorta taken care of but even though the roaches left, we got earwigs still coming in the house which I guess are like roaches with pinchers. It looks nice but the place is full of criminals and random people wandering around at night. THe police say its a regular target for breakins to cars adn drugs/drugdealers. They said it was a good idea for us to move. Its affordable but not after your insurance stops covering you. We;ve spent over $2000.00 in 2 weeks and I am sure we will lose our deposits over something like rug cleaning. We move this week.
