Community good; price...um

Alright, I am currently living in this apartment complex still and just re-newed my lease for several reason. I do got to admit the staff do seem military friendly and just friendly overall. It is clean and quiet around here too. I have had very few maintenance issues but when I did have issues they surely did do something quick about it. But now that I got the good information out the way here comes the bad. The price of the apartment I am pay is 1180. That was just a special. I have been looking around for other apartments and I see bigger ones for a better price and it is a two bedroom for just $100 more. I looked at the 2 bed 2 bath here in island club and it nothing compared to the other apartment complex I have looked around in. I do not make enough money to save especially since my wife goes to school fulltime and I don't want her to risk her GPA because she is constanly working. Since I can't really save much I don't have enough money for a deposit for the other apartment complex. The lighting the apartment really sucks too. It is hard to see in the bedroom unless you buy bright ass lamps. Now what I mean by lighting is not just about the lights in the rooms but the light that is provided from out side. Bad positioned windows with the outside light. It actually makes you feel depressed inside here. I hate saying that cause it makes me feel like a homo but it surely does suck. Laundry, well laundry is a hazzle. You really need to go an outside laundrymat because it is cheaper then the ones in the apartment complex. $1.25 for a load. Oh, and wait on the ones that don't wash and dry. Yes it typically is fixed in the next couple of days but you don't have time to complain about the lost money espcially when you are busy as hell as I am. I really don't recommend it to anyone. You don't feel like you are home and pay alot for it. I renewed the lease because if not i would pay for approx 1440 for 566 sq ft. How sad. Also, when I renewed and never missed a payment, they only raised my monthly amount. Of course, on the first month of re-newed lease they forgot to charge me for pet rent of 50 dollars. Now they sent out a birght red paper making us feel like we didn't pay rent. That thing is noticeable to everyone in the complex and everyone knows the red paper is not paying rent. But i did pay rent and they told me that was the balance. they just forgot to charge me for pet rent.
